FAQ's: The Supported Village @ Flow Stoneville

What do I need to bring to class?

To make the process as easeful as possible, I set up the following items for you:

  • Basic yoga mat (I recommended you bring your own yoga mat, and place it on top for extra grip and comfort)
  • Soft throw
  • Bolster
  • Block
  • Strap
  • Cushion for under your head
  • Refreshment
  • Scented towel for refreshing and grounding prior to class

I would recommend you bring your water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing for our practice. You are also welcome to bring any yoga props of your own if you have things you prefer to use.

I want to download the app to my phone so I can book classes without having to source the URL every time. Please help me do this:

How do I book into a class?

Bookings are essential as some classes are already being waitlisted. This is also a requirement so I can make sure I have the numbers to run the classes currently on the schedule.

If you’ve purchased a pass already:

  1. Log into your Punchpass account
  2. Click on the class you wish to attend and allocate the pre-purchased pass to the booking. It may ask you to log in if you haven’t already. This is so the system knows who you are, and can allocate the pass to your chosen class.

I don’t have a pass, but would love to come along:

You can either purchase a pass (link below) and book into your preferred class.

https://thesupportedvillage.punchpass.com/passes

Alternatively, click on the class you wish to book into via the schedule, and the system will prompt you to buy a pass.

How soon can I book into a class?

If you’ve purchased your passes, I would recommend pre-booking your ‘me time’ as soon as you can. This means you receive first priority for the classes you prefer, and avoid missing out if a class moves to a waitlist. This is also a great way of cultivating positive habits to ensure you are considering your needs within the busyness of the week.

You can cancel up to 5 hours prior to the class commencing, so it’s best to pre-book your movement practice in advance and if on the day things don’t align - make sure to cancel prior to 1pm so you can keep your pass for another session.

Pre-booking also helps me immensely so I can make sure I have all the refreshments, scented towels and props needed well in advance for class.

What is the class cancellation policy?

I have recently adjusted the cancellation policy to 5 hours prior to the class commencing. Being a boutique space with small class numbers, this is important so we can give those on the waitlist ample time to move into the available time slots. For example, if your class starts at 6pm, you will have to cancel by 1pm to avoid using a pass.

As a busy Mum and pivot parent myself, I completely understand that life happens. Please reach out to me via text on 0437 043 860 with your name and number if there is an emergency circumstance that means you can’t log in to cancel your class. I will be able to do it from the back end of the system for you.

What times are the classes?

We currently offer three evening classes at 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings with varying experiences so there is a little of everything. Arrive at 5.45pm to enjoy a pre-class refreshment before we begin!

We have a trial class coming from November on a Friday morning (see the schedule for further details). As our classes are embodied, it’s important for us to create a calming sanctuary so the atmosphere is suitable for your experience on the mat. Morning is a busy time around Flow Stoneville, which is why we aim to trial the class and see if noise is going to be a factor moving forward.

What passes do you offer?

All current passes are listed below, with a fortnightly membership to be released very soon for those of you who are already coming a few times a week:

Can I book Decadent Deep Rest and the Sister Circle experience with a class pass?

These experiences are purchased separately via the Punchpass App (you will be able to see the next events on the schedule). These are $35 per person as the class experience is longer than an hour class, which means I’m hiring the location for a longer period of time.

We also have resources and/ or extra yummy morsels and drinks to sustain us throughout these practices, which are all covered in your ticket cost.

Is The Supported Village @ Flow Stoneville a Yoga Studio?

Flow Stoneville is a collective hire space. I hire the location on an ongoing basis, and transform the room into a boutique yoga sanctuary before each class. This is to ensure our community has everything they need for the most supportive experience. This means there may be some limitations with the schedule as other vendors also hire the space, but our current schedule is permanent and ongoing with the scope to expand when the time is right.

This beautiful location overlooking the trees in the tranquil Perth Hills is the perfect landing space for our compassionate community, with practices on the schedule that have been selected with love and intention.

I will also be running my Decadent Deep Rest and Sister Circle experiences in the space once per month. If you’re interested in these speciality evenings, please see the schedule for upcoming dates.
